The Kraken, a high-end sports model from Gruppo Ardito, features a unique aesthetic that combines modernity with 1970s style, making it an extreme timepiece in terms of both design and technical characteristics. The case is composed of three parts: a fixed bezel, a central body, and a case back, all of which are crafted from solid grade 5 titanium with a microblasted finish. The case back is engraved and enameled with reference and serial numbers. The case has a diameter of 46mm, a height of 18.5mm, and weighs approximately 150 grams. The lugs have a dimension of 24mm. The movement spacer is made from Ergal anodized material, a high strength aluminum alloy used in the aerospace industry.

The case has a fixed bezel and the case body is secured by 12 Allen screws (6 on the back and 6 on the bezel). The screw-in crown is made of customized grade 5 titanium. The watch features a sapphire crystal with DOME curvature and anti-reflective coating, which is 8mm thick and provides exceptional water resistance. The water resistance of the crystal is guaranteed by 1 sub-glass O-Ring and an L-shaped ring that works on the perimeter of the glass. The bezel has the task of packing the glass against the case. These technical features allow the watch to achieve a record of impermeability, waterproof up to a pressure of 950 bar (9,500 meters).

The dial is of the sandwich type, made by G.A.W. from an inox sheet, and features sporty gladio-type hands. The hands and lower layer of the sandwich dial are all treated with a generous application of C3 SuperLuminova which ensures exceptional legibility in low-light environments. The movement is an automatic, Swiss-made caliber (ref GAW001) derived from ETA 2824-2, modified by G.A.W. to suppress the date function. It has a frequency of 28,800 BPH and features 25 jewels with a power reserve of 38 hours.
