The Squale Master collection was launched in 1959 with the aim of being the collection with the highest technical achievement of the Squale brand in terms of resistance to pressure. In the ‘60s, it already boasted a pressure resistance of up to 100 ATM.

As expected from the ultimate underwater tool watch, this is an exceptional timepiece featuring technical characteristics that guarantee excellent performance even in extreme conditions, having been designed in collaboration with professional divers.

This watch features the revived historic Squale “Master” case which was one of the first cases designed by Squale's founder, Charles Von Büren, in the 60s. Over time, the Squale Master became an established name in the world of diving enthusiasts, as famous freedivers such as Enzo Maiorca and Jacques Mayol chose it as their reliable companion during their underwater adventures. The technical characteristics of this pioneering watch guaranteed water resistance up to a depth of 1000 meters.

The Squale Master is the first Squale timepiece to be made entirely of Grade 5 Titanium. This material, unlike 316L steel, allows for an extremely light watch without altering its technical characteristics. And the 4mm-thick sapphire crystal together with the helium escape valve make it possible to withstand depths of up to 1,200 meters with a certified resistance of up to 120 ATM.

The Master model features SuperLuminova Old Radium on the bezel, dial and hands, giving it a similar look to the first Squale Masters from the 1960s, when the luminescence was provided by tritium.

The bezel is in brushed ceramic, while the numbers are in SuperLuminova resulting in perfect readability underwater.

The dial is one-of-a-kind: it is in fact built on three layers.

The bottom layer consists of a disk entirely in SuperLuminova Old Radium, to which a perforated dial is added on top. This process, called "sandwich,” optimizes the luminescence of the indexes.

The third and final layer consists of the applique indexes that outline the cutouts of the dial. Its brushed finish matches the finish on the hands and case.

All the features of the watch have been designed to create an incredibly high-performance timepiece, able to meet the needs and high standards of professional divers. The matte black dial is made with a "sandwich" technique, which allows a greater amount of SuperLuminova to be concentrated in the large indexes. The smooth, coin-shaped 120 click uni-directional bezel has a ceramic insert and partners well with the minute hand providing crucial, at a glance, information on remaining or elapsed dive-time. The domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is enhanced with an anti-reflective treatment for better visibility.

This classic diver has a screw-in case back, and a brushed grade 5 titanium case with dimensions of 42mm x 16mm for a comfortable presence on your wrist.

The Squale Master is powered by a Swiss made Sellita SW 200-1 Elaboré automatic movement which provides mechanical reliability and accuracy under the toughest circumstances.

The bracelet from the master collection is made entirely of Grade 5 Titanium and is the first bracelet designed for the “Cassa Von Buren,” Squale's iconic design. Inspired by one of the bracelets made in the 1960s, the Squale Master bracelet guarantees maximum comfort to the wearer.

The bracelet adjustment system, called a "bushing pin system", allows the wearer to adjust the length of the bracelet by removing links to guarantee a perfect fit.

The buckle, also made of titanium, features a deployant clasp with a safety system that includes side wings for release.

An additional Italian made black Tropic rubber strap is also included with the Squale Master.

With this all-titanium 120ATM model, Squale has created an elite dive watch that is perfectly suited to an extreme underwater environment.
