A GMT watch is one equipped with a GMT function, which shows a second time zone in addition to your current time. It was therefore a logical move for Swiss watch manufacturer Davosa to equip its successful Ternos Professional series with this sought-after function. The hand that indicates the second time zone is highlighted and thus perfectly readable.

The Ternos Professional's case has a diameter of 42mm and is made of 316L stainless steel with a satin-brushed and polished finish. The design and finishing of the case are elegant, with contrasting polishes on the stainless steel carrure elements which complement the bracelet. It also features turned-down lugs for a more comfortable fit on a wide range of wrist sizes. The case is water resistant down to 20 ATM - 200 meters underwater. The large screwed down crown is protected with solid flared crown guards and is located at the 3 o'clock position. The caseback is made of 316L stainless steel and is screwed-on in order to ensure its water resistance.

The matte black dial is protected by a scratch resistant sapphire glass crystal with an anti reflective coating to ensure that the dial can be easily read even under direct sunlight or deep underwater. There is a date window at the 3 o'clock position with a Cyclops magnifier.

The Ternos Professional utilizes state-of-the-art Super-LumiNova luminous pigments which ensure exceptional luminous properties. A generous amount of this material has been added to the dial's applied stainless steel indices and hands. The seconds hand is also easily read in the dark thanks to a luminous dot of Super-LumiNova.

The 120-click unidirectional rotating bezel is made of 316L stainless steel and boasts a high-tech scratch-resistant ceramic bezel insert which rises conically between the stainless steel bezel and inner glass rim. The bezel can easily be used to track a third time zone thanks to its 24 hour markings.

A 24-hour display, the distinguishing feature of an additional time zone, is displayed prominently on the rotatable diving bezel, giving the Ternos its characteristic sporty yet functional appearance. The coloured bezel inlay is made of high-tech ceramic and is extremely scratch-resistant with a hardness (according to Vickers) of 1250 HV. It is also heat and corrosion-resistant, and proffers a fine feel thanks to a high-gloss polish. The production of these ceramic bezels is very elaborate; a great deal of expertise is required to produce the different colours in a consistent quality and colour brilliance. The scale of the 24-hour display, which consists of a triangle, Arabic numerals and dots, is engraved into the bezel by a high-precision laser before being filled with the contrasting colour.

The Ternos Professional is powered by a Swiss made DAV 3032 automatic movement which provides precision, reliability and a high level of performance. It has a power reserve of up to 42 hours and guarantees a very reliable and accurate timekeeping experience.

A matching stainless steel bracelet with safety deployment clasp is supplied with the Ternos Professional. And thanks to the 'divers extension' integrated in the clasp, the Davosa Ternos Professional can be easily worn on top of a wetsuit.
